Yeah. If they said 11:04, it was 11:04.Yep. I used to shuttle on PSA (and Air Cal to a lesser degree) between OC and San Jose or SF. Walk out, climb the stairs, take a seat and an attendant would come along lugging one of the old credit card sliders that used carbon paper. $29.00 one way. Once in a while $19.00. You could show up 5 minutes before a flight and get on, no problem. No such thing as TSA. Only had lines at holidays.
Well, I’ve flown dozens of times the last five years. Southwest, Southwest, Southwest in that order. A glorified bus. I’m cheap. But now I have a better option. Thank God.
I have yet to find a country that has a lock on the most beautiful women. There's some pretty nice ones every where you look. Now with men on the other hand, Latin lovers comes to mind.Singaporean women are rumored to be the most beautiful.
Can’t add much to the airlines story but I know Qantas shares with Emirates, JAL, Cathay.
Friends really rate Emirates.
Looking to go to Ireland & UK in about 12-15 months.
We’re doing that trip in a month. First real vacation in some years. Can’t wait.

The main thing to remember is to avoid RyanAir in the UK. Apparently they charge for everything. Your printed boarding pass isn't crisp looking enough? Fined. Your carry-on that fits every other airline on Earth, including Barbie and Lilliputian? Too big, fined! If you're looking for quick budget flights, EasyJet is the way to go. Very friendly and reasonable. You will have to pay for food and beverages.
BYOJ(Jameson)Check in from there a couple times.
Bookmarked. Thanks. Once I’m there it would only be to or from Ireland.
used CDG and Orly as my main hubs for over three years when living there on assignment for a US company and the only times I experienced delays was due to airport worker strikes, not AF itself.....very common in Europe..Better food but completely unreliable schedules. Three times I tried AF for EU travel, the last two times they went on strike and nearly cost me millions of dollars in project delays. When globe trotting from Region to region around the world in back to back meetings trying to keep billion dollar projects on a critical path the last thing I needed was unanticipated delays. I put AF on a no fly list for my department when on business critical travel. But yes, the food was good.
There is that part. But at least it got to its destination. With American, you might end up in Topeka without your luggage.
Could always go Malaysian...Let's see... Topeka w/o my luggage or a fiery death at my planned destination... hummm...

Yeah, I get that.On second thoughts Geoff, can't really like that.
Since I don't fly, I can 'like' the thought process. On second thoughts Geoff, can't really like that.
Oh my. I want that Tele.
My Tele that you are lusting over ... is a G&L ASATIt’s all good. I like it. Now G&L? Ughh.

I was waiting for someone to day thatI thought NWA were based outta Compton.
My daughter recently started with an airline. As her parents, we get amazing flight benefits. Now all we need is time to use them.
Or worse! Akron! I know, it is a tough one.Let's see... Topeka w/o my luggage or a fiery death at my planned destination... hummm...
Second thoughts tend to foul up a perfectly good warped sense of humor. On second thoughts Geoff, can't really like that.
Thanks. We’ll be figuring it out in the coming months. She took a posting in Boston and is very busy. It’s hard having her all the way across the country. Our first trip will be to visit her.Only thing is going to be her seniority. That's going to determine your boarding priority.
But, if she keeps her eye on particular flights, and gets a sense for days that are less traveled. It'll be much easier to get on a flight. Don't try and travel on holidays or weekends, all the other non-revs with more seniority will bump you way down the stand-by list.
