I am an optimist. We survived a lot of things in the past. The kids I know will fix the current problems and make a different mess for their children to clean up. As long as we don't make like yeast and drown in our own excrement. Then again, we may be creating great cosmic booze to get some intergalactic being buzzed. All is well with the appropriate perspective.

I wish I could share that - this is the realist in me speaking. As an artist I am a romantic - inherently wanting beauty and good to feel whole/real. At this point the realist is taking charge because the romantic is prone to being crushed by those who see it as weakness.

I think about future generations, but selfishly I'm also thinking about the next 30 years on earth. I hope (here's the optimist) that my last days are generally positive. (and I will actively work to be a part of that)

Yes, but also in Alice's solo work. Don't know about others, but I look at the Hollywood Vampires as Alice Cooper with some different (albeit famous in their own right) backing musicians. It sure looks like Alice is BL for them.

I looked at it as an Alice Cooper covers album.

That's my most Gibson sounding Fender along side my most Fender sounding Gibson. Both companies knocked it out of the park with these basses. And both companies promptly discontinued their models.
Fender Modern Player Telecaster in Butterscotch Blonde and Gibson 2013 EB5 in vintage sunburst.

Funny that they both drifted that way momentarily. Maybe there is a middle ground
