Thunderbird Club

I assume that's a non-reverse lefty strung and played righty?
I bet Carlo could make you one of those.
I wonder if E string length is an issue on that. On my VP that last tuner at the tippy top of that massive headstock is a right far stretch from the tail piece and most strings I've used have the E as the shortest string in the set.
Still very cool!
I begged Christine to follow that approach....didn’t fly...

although I write lefty....really thankful I play righty.....

?...
As for classy broad - like Stevie Nicks, Janis Joplin, or Debby Harry?
That's an easy choice for me (assuming each singer at her prime)...
Going on looks and vocals:
Debby Harry - had bedroom eyes, sounded mostly sober with just a hint of punk
Stevie Nicks - looked like she's was wearing bed sheets, sounded stoned with a trademark nasal voice
Janis Joplin - always had that next morning bed hair look, sounded drunk and belted it out

So I guess I'd go with......
Linda Ronsdat - innocent look but gifted with a phenomenal vocal range for a rock/folk singer

Truth be told, I'm a huge fan of each of them. In fact here's Janis and I hangin out in NY...

Now wait a minute here Ken. Your RNR being worked on is kinda like that one.

That's a real lefty NR that Tom Peterson (in the pic) set up righty. I don't think string length will be a problem, especially on the 2013.

I had the 3 point saddles up too high on the Epi IV to compensate for the lower tension of the 45-100 cobalt flats. Today the Supertone arrived. As I hoped, the extra length got the silk off the saddles! But rather than crank the saddles really high, I want proper bow.

I have a hex key that fits the truss rod adjustment hole snugly, but that nut does NOT want to turn in either direction, even with pliers. I’m not forcing it, but I was using a LOT more pressure than I have ever used on a guitar.

Anyone else run into this?

Yes

I was too scared to touch it for the reasons to which you allude -- worried I would strip/break/snap something -- and took it to a luthier to have a TR nut shim fitted. He gave it some elbow and it was fine. IME other TRs adjust without much effort at all.

Scared, worried. Just do it!

I just listened to Throb, by, Devoured. You have my attention.

Oh that? That's on loan from my electronica side project. Was messing about with a freeware IOS synth -- 'Synth One'. Was finding out what I can do with it.

The electronica is a bit of a rabbit hole (be funny if my rabbit hole joined up with Mark's @dukeorock). I started out making intros and interludes -- aka 'padding' to get our set up to 45 minutes -- triggered off the Roland pad ... but now we are talking about using the synth for backing tracks in songs, just to add to the overall effect*, which adds a whole new layer of complexity with click tracks etc.

*Why make people dance, when you can melt their faces?

If you are going on looks alone, I have to vote for Susanna Hoffs. It doesn't hurt that the Bangles came up with well crafted pop songs. It also doesn't hurt that she has aged better than most of us.
