Thunderbird Club

I would reverse the order, but they are very close.
Chutney is in the chutney class.

It is really close between them. And differences in freshness, recipe, server, beverages, and accompaniments could influence absolute placement at any given moment.

For those that know, chutney is completely different. I have made a few interesting chutneys over the years. Nothing says Xmas dinner like turkey with chutney.

different courtship ritual requirements I guess.......

Playing in a temporary thing, with possibility for more, but today I played through a Mesa Subway D800 and an SWR 410 cab. Sounded great. I think the Queen is onto something. This was the only pic I got, more to remember my settings. As usual, the Thunderbird doesn't need much past flat, and that awful Voicing knob off with extreme prejudice.

What exactly does 'voicing' do?

Mine does not have that issue. Then again, the pickups are about as low as they will go. It still has its unique beastly quality. Either I got lucky or have prehistoric ears. Or both, which is probably closer to truth.
Now I need to do some testing and measuring. The ‘15 went into the case and got hidden when we left for vacation. Only bass I was worried about if someone broke in. I put the Cobalts on it a while back and am still in the honeymoon phase with them. I need to get a magnet to test the pickup polarity orientation. Mine is not chorusy to my ears as it is currently set up.
