Thunderbird Club

Thanks. Had this house a long time. Where we are, pool is a necessary evil. I’ll be enjoying it this evening after dinner with a cold one.
If I lived where you live, I would want a back yard like that, too. A cold one sounds pretty good. It is plenty warm here today. Your advice is excellent. I think I will take it!

Yeah, it was a little weird in the beginning with the Thunderbird's location at the neck heel, but it's just different. I'm curious if it changes the stability of how it hangs (I'll just ahem myself).
Didn’t feel weird to me. Just “Huh? Oh, that works.” Forgot about it and played.

Here are a couple of songs from that gig last week. Decent quality from my little Tascam recorder that I put on the sound board. The sound guy recorded it for them as well, but I haven't heard that yet and it was good to have this as a backup.

I like the ramp at 2:16 and ending on the first song. 2nd song is cool also - I could see trippin' out to that live. Is it a quartette?

Thanks! It's just the guitarist and Moog person. The drummer and I were just for the live thing. I was asked to play the show four weeks before but was away for one of that, so I had three weeks and four rehearsals to get down the eight songs. The first song here was new and never recorded, so we all figured it out together. I was happy with the result.

Got a little shoegaze vibe going on... nice melodies, like the psychedelia.

Not so sure yours will be very ... (Tina Turner voice) nice.
According to the flood zone map, my street will be part of a nearby creek, but my yard won't. If Dorian doesn't make the turn they predict, I'm grabbing the 67 TBird, the LPB25, the Rumble 200c, and the cat and make tracks.

Jeez. I have a very nice puddle outside.

When we bought this house, it met almost every criteria but one- I really wanted either a pool or running water on the property. (There are creeks nearby, but not on our land.) But we only had three weeks from when we started looking to when we had to move (our buyer for our old house was in a hurry). We settled on this one with only a week to spare, and literally signed the day before we moved.

We found out later this house had previously been up for sale with no interest. Their realtor told them the pool was a detriment, so they tore it out and relisted. We would have bought it the first day we saw it if it had still had the pool!

Once it's paid off, I am thinking we should add a pool. The only question is whether it should be in the shape of Texas or a THUNDERBIRD.
