I'm not asking, and screw anyone trying to send me to a corner.
With all due respect to the sisters and brothers here.
You ever listen to the Edgar Winter's White Trash "Roadwork" version of this?
All this talk of hi/low pass filters has me second guessing myself.
I've always assumed the semiparametric equalizer section of my Thunderfunk amp served the purpose of a HLPF. The way it's set up you can dial in any specific frequency you want in any of four ranges of frequencies and either cut or boost those frequencies. Here's a pic of the EQ section...

...I just select the Hz setting on the top row and cut or boost that setting by as much as 15dB.
So is that the same general function as an HLPF or am I missing out on something more???
It's this I think, which you'll find under various brand names.

The serial killer drummer was stupidly loud. Our stand in (and I'm hoping future permanent) drummer (and singer's husband) had not played for 25 years until the other day. He was both tasteful and not overly loud, to the extent we we able to have a vox, bass and drums session without earplugs which was a pleasant change.

Interesting. I didn't know this was another option. I've found some pretty cheap filters online, but didn't know if that was going to be a waste of money. More pondering necessary. Good thing my Thunderbirds sound good as is!
I’ve got two G30s, one upstairs and one downstairs. When I’m home alone, I wander all over the place playing.I bought a used G30 on eBay for $130 and put it on my board. It sure is nice to be able to go out front to hear the mix.

Very nice! Do you not stretch the strings when you install them? I keep doing it until they're in tune after another stretch.Came home and spread out on the kitchen table to give the new one some TLC.

Fret polish, F1 fretboard clean/oil, Gibson polish, new strings and fixed the bridge angle. I’m beginning to feel a little guilty about scoring this beauty for a very nice price. The fretboard edges have obviously been professionally rolled and the fret ends must have been done at the same time. It is a joy to play. Researching the serial number puts it as production #29 in November of ‘07 from the Unsung Plant in Korea. It looks brand new. Very light play up to the 5th fret, mostly on E and A.
I’ll complete the setup in a few days after the strings stretch a bit. Won’t need much tweaking. Then I’ll order a nice strap for it. It is a fabulous THUNDERBIRD Friday!
