Currently drying off in front of the fire.

It’s a Bicentennial Bird through an original B18... sounds phenomenal!
Sorry I’m not @Gaolee and can’t give a... colourful review
I'm guessing that's an amazing sound. Lower volume than the ACC, but just as present.

I think it's fantastic that you got that one from Carlo. It stayed in the family and has a good new home. Unlike some of the rest of us, you can play it for the next 50 years.

This is only intended to make playing at home easier. For live use I wouldn't trust it. I'd use a cable. KISS.
KISS is why I don't use a cable. Tripping hazards mean I'm going to forget, jump around, and get all tangled up. Not that it has ever happened...

New bass day :smug:
Just in time for matching Monday!

If the weather was nicer I’d take a matching Monday car pic.
Love the basses (white!). Love the Ampeg. Love the Mopar pics as well. I think that's what they are.

How would you describe and contrast the tonal characteristics of each Thunderbird?

I got these wireless thing instead of the more common paddle-looking ones because it operates at 5.8 GHz instead of 2.4. I figure less chance of interference, plus it has a longer range. Worked right out of the box. Pretty impressive. Only thing I don't like is that the on/off switches are really vague with very little travel. But probably not worth exchanging for another set.

I’m waiting for the Tbird shaped model.
