Thunderbird Club

Never heard of him, but even when I played country, I wasn’t into the scene:cautious:
A pro drummer recently told me country is where the money is to be made as a musician.

BINGO

My band has been known to play these two songs -

...and we're no richer doing so!

Thanks for posting that (in spite of zero bird content). In the late 1990's I was very much into NM and everything she did. After a stressful day at work there was nothing more relaxing than putting a mix of Natalie Merchant, Mazzy Star and Cowboy Junkies in the CD player. Definitely not upbeat music, but perfect for unwinding nerves and removing stress.
forgot the rye manhattans..

Diversity is the key. Yes, ELP, Genesis, Wishbone Ash, Bowie, Alice, GFR, Neil Young solo and with the Horse, Jefferson Airplane, Sabbath, Quicksilver, Love, The Allman Brothers, first and second generation Fleetwood Mac, the Underground, early Eagles, New York Dolls and of course the Beatles, just to name a few, were all blasting out of bedroom circa 1974. Can’t say the album that song was on got a whole lot of play on my table.

Yes indeed. Diversity.

The day doesn't really matter. It's the intent.

Oh man, this is so true. For all it's good and bad...

So true - every musician/band I (would frankly rather not know about) am less likely to follow, they are all out there doing it in front of 'millions' of people - and where do I fit in? :) Answer: Just where I want to!
