Thunderbird Club

So this one reminded you to buy the damaged one? (and it sounds like you did) I considered that one myself for similar reasons but decided to pass.
Lol ya. I like the pups in my vp and those pups i can not find. There is an Embassy on ebay for $350 and thats about the best price I can find so this for $250 works. Plus I bet that neck can be fixed pretty easy.

If you have woodworking skills - it can.

It is a blessing to be easily amused. I am cursed by being surrounded by those who make no effort to amuse me!

I hope you realize I was referring to the people who filled a swimming pool full of custard. :)

Excellent! Looking forward to how this turns out. Please keep us updated.
I will, its been a long process so far and I dont expect it’ll be done all that soon. I have the neck (Hillimire) bridge (our own Scott Dasson), pup and electronics are on the way. I need paint and clear. My only real hang up is grain filler or no and Inverness green (59 Cadi) or Verdoro green (68 Pontiac GTO). Both greens would fitt the bill beautifully. Imho

I eat fresh habaneros at times. It's not something you do without a bit of practice. What you have to be aware of is that the oils do not wash off your hands. That causes pain in other places. My wife thought it was very funny when I took a leak after handling extra hot peppers. I didn't think it was so funny at the time. Like usual, she was correct and it took a while for me to understand this.
Bread is your best solution in such an emergency. :hyper:

Should look great. Be warned, this is what you'll get with no filler...

With a thick clear coat it'll feel smooth as glass but you'll still be able to see the grain and wood pores. It's a unique love it or hate it look. Filler is the safer route if you think you'll ever sell it.

Yes, but my concern is for my own amusement. :)

I think the true tragedy of those filling the pool is that they never developed any skill sufficiently that they could get a job that didn't involve filling a pool with custard. I can't even imagine what I would think if I saw a resume with "filled a pool with custard" on it. Oh sure, the person would get an interview, but only to satisfy my own morbid curiosity.

You own all the NRs and now you are going to corner the market for lightweight VPs. Clever man!
I'm not easily impressed, and the Vintage Pro impresses me. I worry they will be discontinued so I want some on hand. They are a close second to my 60's Nonreverse birds.

Potato's too
Capsaicin, the chemical that accounts for the spiciness, has a long aliphatic tail. This makes it very fat soluble. By eating or drinking anything that contains a decent about of fat (milk is a great choice because the fat is emulsified keeping the offending molecule away from sensitive mucus membranes) the capsaicin partitions into the fat removing the sensation of burning.

I have NO IDEA what you are talking about, but I believe you. . . :smug:

Potato's too
Now I'm confused.
How do you cook the potatoes (baked, mashed, boiled, scalloped, French fried...) and even more importantly, in light of the yogurt on the hiney comments, where do you put them?
Lastly, and most importantly, will I have to play my THUNDERBIRD standing up, or will I be able to sit?
