Thunderbird Club

So I'm thinking of looking for an Epiphone Vintage Pro to compliment my Lull T5, sometimes the 5er gets to be a bit much for some of the more technical Hard Rock songs (or surprisingly, Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo or I Ain't the One).

Looking at Sweetwater, they have one at 11 lbs, and one at 9 lbs 13 oz, is this heavy weight typical? If so, they're not for me. I need 9 lbs or less, especially in a 4 string.
Mine is around 9

Vintage Pro, Vintage Pro, VINTAGE PRO!!!! Confound all you enablers! :woot:
Glen, you are just wasting time typing when you could be buying.
I love mine. Scott is right. It's right up with with my '64 TBird and '64 Epi Embassy. Doesn't have the exact magic, but for the price...Wow!

I'm not sure that I have ever seen a 1 transistor fuzz. I'm most familiar with the 2 transistor type.

For bass, I think a clean blend to retain bottom end is critical; for use with your Thunderbird.

But if you want a really good bang, connect an electrolytic capacitor backwards (reversed polarity). As a rule of thumb, physically bigger capacitors produce a bigger bang.
I wouldn’t try it. Capacitors intimidate me.

Too late For TBird Tuesday??
