However as you can see, this girl has had a rough start to life. Someone started to relocate the strap buttons(easy fix) and she has taken a face plant straining the muscles in her neck.

When I bought my BaCH the neck was worse than this and BaCHman has been repaired and works perfect so I am uber confident this to shall live to fly. BUT, first the electronics are coming out for my “forever” build! I will have to find something else to pillage from to fill this after repairs can be made.
I thought maybe those holes were an attempt to lighten it.;)

GC...not a single Bird...Boo!...

The rare times that there will be a Bird in a store is typically the Sam Ash here.
It was the Queens store the had the one and only VP i've ever seen.
The Round Rock (small city just north of Austin) GC usually has one Epi IV hanging. Where it is on the wall seems pretty random. Mine was eyeball level; the last time I was in, the current bird was 15 feet up.

I dunno. Honestly, I've played those Ibanez Soundgear basses and they are really nice and fast. Cheap little workhorses, don't discount them.

I briefly owned an SG 5'r and agree they are very playable, decent sounding basses. I still wouldn't look twice at them as a matter of what I personally find engaging about a bass. That's why there are so many different basses out there. ;)

Yeah, I've owned 3 of them over the years. And back when I was gigging and we went in the studio that was what I took just because it was a solid little workhorse. I actually regret selling the last one I had, and may pick up another in the future.
