I've never even attempted to play it and try to avoid even hearing it when possible. YMMV
That statement covers pretty much 100% of the repertoire for me.

Excellent - more Gloria Jones than Soft Cell. And certainly not Marilyn Manson (although that arrangement is good too).
he's got Jason Bonham's band..should be fun..Puts on a good show. Saw him a few years ago. No flash needed. Enjoy!
Does that Radiator work, Jeff?
I will take tarantulas over those any day.we get our fair share of brown recluse, black widows and the occasional scorpion but tarantulas?..
That was me for decades til I got healed.Spiders are a phobia
Definition of PHOBIA
for me, doesn't matter if they're harmless to humans or not, if it's in the house, it dies - even if it means driving over it with a Subaru or fire.
Just in case nobody else got around to this. Ox, if not a Thunderbird.
I can't sing, and barely play. But here's a quick nasty crud sound clip on on the burst bird.
And talk about crud recording. Bird, amp, iphone. Don't hate on me now.
I try to do bad, good. Well, i try to try. Use cans, please. And than you can laugh at me all ya want.
I was at a Kevin Prosch concert. Wrapping up at night in a parking lot. September in DFW. Still 100F near sunset. All 500 people- from 2 to 90 or so, were dancing when BEG was played. Canes, wheelchairs, didn’t matter.the song is like a cartoon but a total winner with any crowd...young...old..etc....people love to sing along...soooooo...we play it...
Picked up a bottle of this today, from your area. Jester King is great.I was at a Kevin Prosch concert. Wrapping up at night in a parking lot. September in DFW. Still 100F near sunset. All 500 people- from 2 to 90 or so, were dancing when BEG was played. Canes, wheelchairs, didn’t matter.
Great tone!
That's a beautiful rebuild! Very well done!
Not sure what it is about BEG but I absolutely detest playing that song. I'd rather play Freebird, Mustang Sally and McArthur Park back to back than even think about playing BEG. I think it might be because it's one of those songs every bass player is supposed to know by heart and be able to play in their sleep. I've never even attempted to play it and try to avoid even hearing it when possible. YMMV
Are bears Catholic? Does the Pope...
Any time I hear that riff from I Want to Take You Higher, I say (sometimes out loud, sometimes to myself) "I am the wolfman!" And it is all because of the Hilarious House of Frightenstein.
