Thunderbird Club

Late Thunderbird Thursday rearview body shot:

I know a guy at Sweetwater who has one of these and really likes it. Seems like the best of all worlds in may ways, but often compromises generate unforeseen or unintended weaknesses. But they do look good and I'm pretty sure a Thunderbird would make them sound better.

just my opinion, but I think it’s one of the worst cabs Mesa ever made, though it does look like it should be cool, visually. They sound ok when standing the perfect distance from them, but take a couple steps away, or worse, walk through the room and the comb filtering is really bad. I’m a Mesa endorser and love their products, but that cab...no

FWIW, there is more violence in each play in(American)football than all 3 periods of a hockey game. It's just that everything is visible on a 'white' sheet of ice as opposed to a pile of 10+ players on the gridiron [what's the derivation of that term?].

When they added the lines at each yard someone thought it made the field look like an iron griddle pan.
Something like that.

Is it a keeper?

It is now!

I had to make a follow up visit with my Doc today, his office is close Mike Lull's so the LP came along. I hadn't been for a visit in some time and it was good to catch with Mike, he's just the real deal. He took the LP to his bench and had a quick look at the truss rod - it was way better with 30 seconds of his work. I mentioned my visit with the Doc and he said he'd have ready by the time I was done - I was back in about 50 minutes and the bass perfect, plays fantastic, the cracked pickup bezel is replaced and wow, it rawrs!
