Thunderbird Club

Losing people, esp when you really like them, is hard. So sorry, heart goes out your way.
When you remember them out loud it helps them to be nearby- and that's not to be flip, it just helped me some when I lost a best friend... dulled the grief just a little. Sometimes it brought a good remembrance, made me laugh instead of cry. Honor life, you know?
Peace on you guys.
Thank you Count.

Wow. You’re good. Thanks. I would so love to buy that. But a new bass isn’t in the cards, at least until sometime next year. Kind of bleeding cash at the moment. I haven’t shared this, but my beloved mother-in-law (and I mean that sincerely, she was absolutely wonderful) passed away a few days ago so we’re dealing with some unexpected grief and expenses.
So very sorry to hear that.

Our stage last night and a shot of the Olympic Mountains from the back end of the ferry MV Spokane. Nice to be homeward bound, I’m trashed!

I'm planning a project build since I don't want to spring big $ for a Lull PT4 (I want something to leave at practice so I don't have to haul the T5 back and forth during oftimes bitter cold Utah winter). Also, remember I'm not a fan of 1.5" necks.

I'm thinking of having a jazz body routed for Tbird Pups, and getting a P neck and .500 pots for it (VVT).

So, how close would this get to Thunderbird sonically? Since the Pup routings can be moved one way or the other, should I have either the bridge or neck Pup moved closer to the neck (or vice versa) to get closer to Thunderbird Pup spacing (I don't have a T4 for reference).

when’s Guy Fawkes?
Remember, remember!
The fifth of November,
The Gunpowder treason and plot;
I know of no reason
Why the Gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot!
Guy Fawkes and his companions
Did the scheme contrive,
To blow the King and Parliament
All up alive.
Threescore barrels, laid below,
To prove old England's overthrow.
But, by God's providence, him they catch,
With a dark lantern, lighting a match!
A stick and a stake
For King James's sake!
If you won't give me one,
I'll take two,
The better for me,
And the worse for you.
A rope, a rope, to hang the Pope,
A penn'orth of cheese to choke him,
A pint of beer to wash it down,
And a jolly good fire to burn him.
Holloa, boys! holloa, boys! make the bells ring!
Holloa, boys! holloa boys! God save the King!
Hip, hip, hooor-r-r-ray!

So sorry to hear about your loss. About all you can do is try to do your best to remember the good times as you work through the unfortunate situation.

Can someone with a Gibson or Epiphone vintage pro measure from the center of the PUPs to the bridge for me?
