I didn't read this. So sorry for the difficult time. Vent anytime. Just stick thunderbird in the post to keep everybody happy.I didn't need any advice to blow up my marriage of 29 years. . .
Edit: No worries. I've found my soulmate, and she and I are going to retire together shortly!
Edit 2: I normally would not have posted this, but I am stressed out today: my Aunt passed away yesterday and my uncle is in intensive care and may not pull through. Don't mean to be a Debbie Downer - trying to stay upbeat with the crew here on the Thunderbird Club!
I bought mine from GC and it is great. You are risking the shipping charge to your local store. We'll see. I'm not wanting to get my hopes up in it being in "great" shape as indicated. I'm a skeptic by nature, but sure am hopeful. Even if not in great shape, it still seems like a good buy. As long as there are not funky neck bows or twists all should be well. It's a chance worth taking.
we went as the French secret police at last night’s party in Pebble...pretty outta control gathering....French champagne flowing like water.....don’t these people work?....

Yes, but I figured it was worth the gamble. (The only kind I care to engage in.) My concern is they don't send the bass in the pic! Fortunately there's a GC here in Louisville, just not my side of town. Still no info on shipping and they've had all day.....I bought mine from GC and it is great. They, along with my AV '58 p bass, are my babies.Your Ric in your avatar looks like a pretty happenin bass too.

That’s why you need a VP!wouldn’t say I play my best on any of my basses but something about high alcohol consumption and my 68 in close proximity that makes me a little edgy.. then it’s no fun...
You forgot "uphill both ways".
Any time man, we are mostly in the same demographic, so we understand the need for some distraction.I didn't need any advice to blow up my marriage of 29 years. . .

Wasn’t it Clint Eastwood that said that?Wise indeed. Glad you made the right decision. "A man's got to know his limitations," said the philosopher. No shame there--just wisdom. We all have to think "long game."
