The kids loved em, and it held them until Thanksgiving dinner at 5:00. We're not much on turkey so we had Roast Beef and Yorkshire pudding. Got to play around with the TBirds after dinner. All in all, another fine Thanksgiving.

Those look good! With all we went through the last several weeks, and the bad weather, we stayed off the roads. It was just the wife and son with me at the house. Did a prime rib on the Weber because they really don’t like turkey. A lazy day with some time in the shed.

would’ve never thought of doing a prime rib on a Weber but man, bet it comes out perfect!

Cool! I’ve played a few of those in music stores.
They feel more like my old EBO than the new SG basses do.

I love the feel and way it plays, but I’m not loving the pick up, it’s not bad but it ain’t great. So I ordered great, I have a cool tone pot setup going in it too. It’ll be a killer once I’m done with it

ThunderJazz project update: ordered cts pots, switchcraft jack and white Strat knobs today. In the absence of Thunderbucker black friday deals, I have to put them on hold until house refinance is completed (no large purchases - taking advantage of low rates). So unless someone has some PUPs they want to sell me, the project is looking at a 30 day delay.

Slab body, but feels good. They have one blue and one black at my local L&M. I like them. Hope they stay in the line up for a while.
