Anti-gravity achieved by offsetting the tendency for the headstock to go crashing into the floor.Second try for Thunderbird Thursday action shot. I was only able to download one of the picture from the show we played last Saturday....

Adding to that. If a pollution control sensor or system fails, rather than allowing you to limp in for service, the computer doesn't allow the engine to start.the OBD2 diagnostics seem to be mostly about pollution controls. Happy birthday Jeff! Have fun, don't forget to write!
And be mindful... there's a lot if fried chicken out there...

I think your advice is better phrased - regain consciousness somewhere else.
Further, I suspect @JJR58 is both capable and experienced in such matters.

Happy Birthday! You always seem to look twenty years younger in your pics you post. Don’t expect we’ll see any for while though? Have fun and stay safe.
...good...There were so many other things going, no fried chicken was needed.![]()

I hate today’s cars....Adding to that. If a pollution control sensor or system fails, rather than allowing you to limp in for service, the computer doesn't allow the engine to start.

globalization for you...we rented a Jeep “Renegade” that had a Fiat chassis and a Mopar engine.....

Further, due to EPA norms for consumption it would shutdown at stops rolling back (automatic) on inclines....
I know that mode can be disabled but man....whatever happened to adjusting the idle with a plain old flathead....
Yep. I did that in February. It didn’t hurt a bit. Hope you had a great birthday.Turning 61 doesn't feel any different. It's just that the time seems to go faster.

Can’t wait to see more pics. And then you’ll get a VP and have two! Thanks. Yeah it's a bolt-on. It plays a lot nicer than it has a right to for what I payed for it. I'll spend more on mods than the initial cost. But I like to personalize anyway.
Idle stop and go turns off the engine when stopped for a very small (imperceptible) improvement in gas economy at the cost of greatly increased wear on the starter.I hate today’s cars....

Can I join? I picked up this Epi as an inexpensive backup and I'm liking it way more than I thought I would. Mods so far:
Thinking about changing the pickups. They're ok but not great. Any suggestions?
- Added additional strap buttons to compensate for neck dive.
- Removed the truss rod cover because it was warped. The headstock looked plain without it so I put an eagle inlay sticker on it.
- Didn't like the white pickguard. Intended to replace it with black but discovered that the wood underneath looks really nice, so going with no pickguard.
- Did not like the 3-point bridge. Replaced it with a hipshot supertone.
- Put on a hipshot extender because I do that with all of my basses.
- Replaced the knobs with jazz bass knobs.

Yeah. My currently defunct new van has that. And a button to disable it. First thing I'd do(did?)after start up.Idle stop and go turns off the engine when stopped for a very small (imperceptible) improvement in gas economy at the cost of greatly increased wear on the starter.
Someone should be reading up on "false economies".
yeah, but they'll turn it around and tell you they just opened the door to the new industry of "elevated cycle starter motors"...IMO it's major lawsuits waiting to happen....picture a scenario where the passengers are in a situation of danger that could be avoided by a car that simply "drives away" but doesn't due to a software bug...Idle stop and go turns off the engine when stopped for a very small (imperceptible) improvement in gas economy at the cost of greatly increased wear on the starter.

Thanks. I'll definitely check out the SSB-4s.I dropped some SSB-4's soap bars in my Korean epi-bird. They are fairly mild, but less muddy than the epi's and they dropped right in, being a bit smaller than the epi's . A couple of rings would make them look better, I think.
I put some tape wounds on it and brought it to audition for a "steely dan" tribute band because it was the brightest, funkiest bass I had. They were surprised some dude with a t-bird showed up and seemed to dig it but they waited way too long to callback so I learned "peg" and "hey 19" for nothing, LOL. By the time they called back I was busy, but then they bugged me for a few months, LOL.
I did a tab for hey 19 here:

Is this one from the gal in Germany?
