Thunderbird Club

The box (not counting jacks, footswitches) is ~ 120 x 63 x 32. The Noir was a limited run but you should be able to find one on Reverb or wherever.
Speaking of shallow, everything about the Noir appealed to me except for the brown print on it. Couldn't get past that. I love my Sonic Research Turbo Tuner. They also make a small version. Red LEDs, but it's fine since I only have it on when I need it.

..try being Sicilian..
Is that why you always look angry in photos? ;-)

Lol, gawd. I'm going for a cortisone shot next to the base of my spine pretty soon. At least V's legs look like they're in good trim!
I’ve had it done a few times. Fluoroscope in front to watch the needle going in. :greedy: I’m sure they told you you’ll need a ride home as your legs won’t work so great walking out. Doesn’t hurt much.

I've been reducing my footprint/cartage/trail, since swapping my (really beautiful sounding) amp kit for an older GK 212 combo- which is doing very well by me and my band mates.
For those *Oh So Necessary* pedal things (don't mean to sound dismissive there, I'd still like a really good dirt-box), I've been sticking with a SansAmp Bass Fly Rig, a smallish pedal strip with chorus, octave filter mess, SansAmp circuit and a simple compressor. It does its thing, I only use some of it, maybe I'll find a cool use for more of it (doubt it). The most notable function is the muted tuner, which is great. I tend to lose or break clip-on tuners, have probably spent well over $100 on those bic-lighter things in two years. You're welcome, Snark.
Less stuff, getting to playing and thinking about my bass is where it's at, I'm way happier... lol, it's almost like being released from jail to find I don't have to think about peripherals as if they're my car keys- nothing like being paralyzed because of some small, lose-able, needed item!
I highly recommend the D'Addario NS Micro-esp. if yer HS is dark, no one can see 'cept you. I've broken 3-4 Snarks, no 2 in the same spot.:banghead:

Chills and goosebumps at the 53 second mark and the rest of the song rocks like few others of that era. A metal legacy that cannot be ignored.

Meanwhile the Billboard Top 100 for '84.... yawn.

Top 100 Hits of 1984/Top 100 Songs of 1984

Yep, Ronnie.

Yep, a lot of sleepy-time in '84. We do a couple, but only from the "funner" entries.

My exact point was that while the public was listening to that BB dreck, RJD was melting faces.

I do understand that metal isn't for everyone, just us cool kids. ;)
I don't hate the guy, he had a helluva voice. I just don't understand the near deification* some people put forth.

* or would that be "diofication?"

White TBird alert:
Ditto, but I'll also alert you to the fact that this is a local RI band made up of guys that haven't quite let go of the 80's... or the eyeliner...

For added entertainment, pay attention to the guitar solo at around the 2:03 mark, especially the whammy bar-less dive bomb at around 2:15ish :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao: Why not bring the guitar that you used in the studio to the video shoot? Or at least one with a vibrato bar?!?!?

Straight out of the hair band era! Loved it!

He pawned it for rent money.

Still Thunderbird Thursday here...…..
I think I need to tighten up my practice stool, it creaks! Anyway here's a shortie with my Orville

Very informative! The wife peeked over my shoulder while I was watching your video, her comment - You're nutz if you don't contact a talent scout to become a leg model, best looking pair she's seen in a long time. I agree!

Let me know how that shot works for you. I've considered doing the same thing for the last two years but have put it off due to concerns I have around needles near my spinal cord. In my case it's sciatic nerve pain. The arthritic lower vertebrae are stiff and somewhat painful but nothing compared to the sciatic pain.

Ditto on V's legs!

Naw, they make rusty gate hinge noise.
Nothing a good lube job won't cure.;)

Lol.
I will post results, for sure. Same concerns, but is going beyond mere annoyance.
