Any one have hopes for NAMM? What's the chance of a proper Gibson non-reverse, 5 string or vintage style with shiny hardware like the Epi vintage pro? 0.03%? 0.002% if we exclude $8000 custom shop one-offs? What do you think?

Counting down the hours until I can slam the door shut on 2019's arse ... thinking about Thunderbirds in 2020.

No, nothing wrong with it, but clearly inferior to the Hipshot. Of course, if you prefer the aesthetics of the original, by all means stick with it.There is nothing wrong with the 3 point bridge. But I like the Hipshot bridge enough that I have them on all my Gibson/Epiphone basses that they will fit on.
BTW if anyone is interested in the original Pro 5 PU's, Pre, Harness, pots & knobs, PM me & we'll work something out, Probably be ok for a 4 Banger...
Well, I didn't take any pics of the installation, but it was SUPER EASY. I will post a pic of the finished product later.Pic ?
Where's the trust???Maybe it didn't happen?

This might be fun. Got notified last night it is shipping economy shipping via Singapore post with a provided tracking number. Expected arrival 02/12.Pickguard is on its way, to arrive sometime between January 10 and February 13. That is a bit of tolerance in the spec.
Coming by boat I guess. This might be fun. Got notified last night it is shipping economy shipping via Singapore post with a provided tracking number. Expected arrival 02/12.

The notice I got was vague about timing. It said anywhere from five to sixteen business days, with February 13 as the last day of its delivery window. It also said that it was dependent upon the efficiency of the postal service in the recipient's country. USPS has been pretty good, in my experience. I had one thing disappear over the years, and that was shipped by FedEx. UPS destroyed an amp that I crated up like it was made of eggs. That still boggles my mind a bit. But, the plain old Post Office has been reliable as an anvil. This might be fun. Got notified last night it is shipping economy shipping via Singapore post with a provided tracking number. Yeah, you have to avoid looking there if you want to avoid a bit of GAS, even if you aren't looking for anything. Thunderbucker Ranch is closely allied with Cataldo, aka Swamp IKEA. Eventually, the Flamingo will get Thunderbuckers in it. I have been saying that for how long now?I just checked out Cataldo's site... wow.
Bah. No BMM, so no Epi NR for me then.We have it on good authority* that Epiphone will be showing prototypes of the new Vintage Pro Non-Reverse in Pelham Blue, Inverness Green, Vintage Cherry, Ebony and White.
* Good authority being previous posts consisting of a small amount of speculation and a large amount of wishful thinking.
Guy Morel is your man at Ashdown if they don't respond, their support website can be a little slow..Hey Chucky, thanks much for the reply. The hiss is more of the SHHHHH type, not really a whine. It gets progressively louder as the gain is dialed up. Even with the treble all the way down, it is still noticeable, even at low volumes. I appreciate your suggestions. I will try swapping tubes and cleaning the sockets. I admit that is about the extent of my amp repair skills. I am curious if I will get a reply from Ashdown's customer service, and will post what I can find out. Thanks much.
