Yes, although not particularly common right here- we have seen one in eight years. We have King Browns also uncommonly. Other deadly snakes here that are reasonably common are Eastern Browns, Rough Scales and Tiger Snakes. Red Bellied Blacks are common but not quite as deadly.
The python that shed the skin here is a Carpet Snake and they get a little bigger than the one that shed the skin- up to 4 metres. It is the biggest one around here, but further north they get Amethystine Pythons which go 7 to 8 metres. I have seen one up on Cape York that had a head on it the size of a German Shepherd's head.

Forget that!

Did a bit of carving in the fretboard. The 12th inlay & the bass' name. also did the same for the side dot markers, just a small carve twist, all of which have been painted with glow in the dark paint. I still gotta remove the alder wood so it's flat for the nut to fit perfectly.

Except in that game some are rabbits others are snakes. Snake goals, Eat as many rabbits as you can. Rabbit goals, find ways to kill the snakes.

It is prohibited to keep bunnies in the state in which I live. They have been actively eradicating them. We do have hares though.

Not to my knowledge. I thought the rabbit fence was to keep them out of Western Australia.
I understand the fine for keeping a pet bunny in Queensland is $44,000. No permits.

Placed the order for another two 9.2 K Hong Kongbuckers. Decided to get a spare.

And............we had a visitor last night. A python shed it's skin just outside our back door. The skin measured just on 3.5 metres.
Not sure where the snake is at the moment!

I live in Brasília, Brazil, right in the middle of the country, in an almost desert region called cerrado. Toucans are a native species, so are these spotted hawks.

I took a drive through Coral Gables and S Miami the day after it hit, and there was a traffic light laying in the road in an intersection. Hmm... Of course the moment I opened my trunk a cop would pull within view and off to the pokey I'd go! So there it lay... It was damn close though.

I drove away and it was still there, no cops. But we know that formula.

Painting done. Feels nice looks nice (minor rasp scratches that i didnt fill cause couldn't see them - but no matter it's in the back) The contrast came out better than i thought with the fretboard.
