That's a sweet one! I'm kind of so-so on natural wood finishes but have always liked those Zebrabirds
Are you going to go to the Seattle GTG? I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it yet, but hopefully I can, I'll bring my Zebrabird, along with the newly arrived '62 EB-3, 'cause, you know, the more Gibson's the better, right?

Hey Dylan, somewhat ironically I'll be out of town that weekend - we're playing for two nights out in Pt Angeles that weekend and will be making some serious money. I'm so bummed! We may have to do a Thunderbird GTG with Will and mistergoats as a possible alternate sometime this year.
I'd love to try the EB-3!
Don't think she butchered it, but I think Bowie is out of her comfort zone, because she has serious talent and pulled of other stuff pretty well.
Looked for the Motörhead tribute and I think it was worse. Johnny Depp seems to be a cool guy and all, but between him and Perry someone killed the signature lick and I give Perry the benefit of doubt.

But it just shows how very, very good Bowie was.
Bowie was unique, as every artist could be. No one out there can surpass Bowie in what he did. Just like no bass player can surpass John Entwistle for that level of playing.

If that happens, I'll bring the EB-2 as well. And probably the 2015, since those are different from the usual Thunderbird. Heck, it has to happen! Beats me when we can shovel all us fleas into one place, but it would be a blast.
I'd bring down a 2000s and its cab too just for giggles.

There's a bunch of us out here. It must be the water. Plus Off-Beat is really a northwesterner. He just happens to live in Austria for some reason. He might show up for the flock of 'Birds by osmosis.
