There are no upper bouts, and I've also heard that will effect what you get out of it. Less resonance or something. Hmm... Use an eq/boost pedal, turn up your amp?

I'm sure it's a fun bass to play. I wouldn't turn one down if I ran across one at the right price. Maybe like the Count says; try some pedals that may thicken the sound or mess with your amp settings.
They are 500K pots Same as in the thunderbirds with the same pickups. Swap them out & see what that gives, You might wanna swap out the 3 way & output jack just to be safe (+ upgrades don't hurt
)

Exactly! As we say in the U.S. - On one hand you're correct, and on the other hand... you have five completely different fingers.
That made me chuckle abit. Too bad we say 'on one side...' over here else I'd steal that.
Anyone got an Idea where I can get the knobs the pro has stock-equipped? All dome knobs have some markings at thoman. I carved a treble and bass cleff into them and they look good, but I effed up the speaker I wanted to make for the blend and master volume.
