The Rough Scales are a small rainforest cousin of the Tiger Snake- also called the Clarence River Snake. Extremely aggressive- several deaths to them over the last few years and active even in winter. They are the one that worries me most/ Black Snakes are generally not aggressive and take a lot of provocation to get them to bite.
I had another look at the python skin this morning and it is incomplete at 3.5 m- no sign of the head, obviously shed separately and lost. The snake may be around 4m! There were very wide slither marks in the dew on the deck this morning!

This one ends up kinda harder to "Like"!
