The money got refunded; the bass had been sold already but the site wasn't updated.

There's a space now where his persona was, and it's making me sit quietly. Part of my world has listed a little to one side. It'll stay up, but I have to do something to right it.
Playing music is all I can do. Giving some energy back, it's kind of like saying "thank you for all the music lessons"! You have to give some back, so it's not wasted.

I saw an interview with Alex (on the yoot oob IIRC) and he was asked about what they get on their (in ear) monitors. Alex said that he gets everything. Geddy gets a little guitar but lots of bass drum, snare drum, and high hat. When asked what Neil gets he didn't know. He said that Neil might not get anything because he just knows all the songs cold and doesn't need any cues.

I heard that earlier too, I usually an not all that saddened by the new of a rock star passing but for some reason Neil is different. Maybe its his lyrics or his abilities behind the kit. Maybe it is the amount of time I have listening to their music whilst on my bike back when I rode all the time. I just don't know but his passing does indeed sadden me. I went as far as to buy and read all of Neils books. So maybe I feel a bit "connected" to him. I sure hoped I would be able to take my kids to see the band but I knew that wouldn't happen a couple years ago, my oldest really likes RUSH. Oh well, RIP Neil. With any lick Ged and Alex will pick up a project.

It's a little weird to me when I see "aging rock star" dies and they're 7 years younger than I am.

And now there's another mint Alpine white Epi TB VP for sale on Reverb from the Sam Ash direct store (albeit with less verbiage) listed at a price that's only ~$3 off what I was going to pay for the one yesterday including tax and shipping.
Is this coincidence? Is Sam Ash a straight shooter? I've never dealt with them, but have heard rumbles that they aren't as solid as they used to be.
