The M85 is an upgrade/what-have-you to the M80? How do you describe the difference? I had the M80 and let it go...Fuzzrocious Cat Tail (or an MXR M85 bass distortion which is essentially the same thing).

Four flavors?... I'm all ears...
Ok, doesn't sound complicated, if you've got a clue or two. Thanks Kat!Errrrr, been a while but it was something like low gain OD, high gain OD, distortion and fuzz.
I bought a JC when they first came out, very nice bass.........I foolishly sold it, I should get another!
You wish.
I replaced one. I cannot remember where I got the replacement, but it was not garden variety. It is a barrel with a couple knurled nuts. If I remember correctly, wiring and installing it was straight forward except that it is an odd tubular object. Sorry I cannot be more specific. Point is that the part is odd, but installation is about a ten minute operation.Hello Tbird club!!! Long time member here and I have a quick question. Yes, I have used google and the search button to see if I could find this on my own and it’s become annoying. I’m looking for a replacement output jack for my 2006 Bird. The original has become loose to the point where I’m nervous gigging it in case my cable falls out. Who’s replaced one and which one is a good replacement? Thank you!
But of course.Fuzzrocious Cat Tail (or an MXR M85 bass distortion which is essentially the same thing).
Life is short.I bought a JC when they first came out, very nice bass.........I foolishly sold it, I should get another!
This one's been on the wall for six years now. I was made a very nice offer, so the bread I had on a GK head I've moved to the bass. Seemed like a reasonable thing to do, even if I have to physically defend myself after I bring it home. Lol.I bought a JC when they first came out, very nice bass.........I foolishly sold it, I should get another!

Lol, one job...Life is short.
My Alpine White JCB is a keeper...my #2 behind my Gibson Tbird and in front if my #3 Hofner 500/1 Cavern ViolinI bought a JC when they first came out, very nice bass.........I foolishly sold it, I should get another!
TI jazz flats on both my Jackbass and TBirdLove my gold Jack Casady! I have been very happy with the sound and feel of the Ernie Ball Cobalt flats I recently put on her. I bought these two packs while here in Az. Thinking about trying them on my 5 string Thunderbird. Anyone have experience with flats on a bird? Great idea? Crazy heresey? Any advice greatly appreciated
NO!!It's your butt, Roger.![]()
That's the one I like the best. Most natural sounding to me.I believe Ashdown were the first ones doing that...theirs sound pretty good..
It's just the mirror!

I use every pedal during a set - the d.i.+ & Compressor/Sustainer stays on the whole time. 2 equalizers? I tried the MXR Compressor but ended up selling it.
