It'll be a nice mate for.my Thunderbird. :)

Hello Tbird club!!! Long time member here and I have a quick question. Yes, I have used google and the search button to see if I could find this on my own and it’s become annoying. I’m looking for a replacement output jack for my 2006 Bird. The original has become loose to the point where I’m nervous gigging it in case my cable falls out. Who’s replaced one and which one is a good replacement? Thank you!
I replaced one. I cannot remember where I got the replacement, but it was not garden variety. It is a barrel with a couple knurled nuts. If I remember correctly, wiring and installing it was straight forward except that it is an odd tubular object. Sorry I cannot be more specific. Point is that the part is odd, but installation is about a ten minute operation.

I bought a JC when they first came out, very nice bass.........I foolishly sold it, I should get another!
This one's been on the wall for six years now. I was made a very nice offer, so the bread I had on a GK head I've moved to the bass. Seemed like a reasonable thing to do, even if I have to physically defend myself after I bring it home. Lol.
Back to Wing Chun class tomorrow! :smug:

Love my gold Jack Casady! I have been very happy with the sound and feel of the Ernie Ball Cobalt flats I recently put on her. I bought these two packs while here in Az. Thinking about trying them on my 5 string Thunderbird. Anyone have experience with flats on a bird? Great idea? Crazy heresey? Any advice greatly appreciated

TI jazz flats on both my Jackbass and TBird

I use every pedal during a set - the d.i.+ & Compressor/Sustainer stays on the whole time. 2 equalizers? I tried the MXR Compressor but ended up selling it.

Yeah....
These days, I'm tone-control experimenting by setting amp and pedal EQ knobs flat and using one GEB-7 for EQing the whole thing. I'm toying with this pedal for now, but might also try a parametric EQ later. The other GEB-7 has been on my board for months, is set flat (save the level slider) and is exclusively used as a clean boost. I tried only boosting mids, works well that way too.
