Yeah, there are a few people doing that. Tom Petersson leaps to mind, but there are others as well.Orange guitar amps are REALLY fun.

Every time I see that, I see the TRC having uosqib on it.
Short answer no with a but, long answer yes with an if.A fellow club member (I forget who, apologies for that) quoted one my posts about a week or two ago, mentionning Lollars and Thunderbuckers as pick-up replacements. I do see these names fly around once in a while, same with Lulls... Are they really that better than the stock rythm'n leads we're getting from Gibson ?

Funny, I was thinking this afternoon that it would be fun to put some bass speakers into a Marshall cabinet.....
Maybe y'all seen it, but there's movement on Epi's site. Says all VP Tbirds are out of stock and the bolt-on model is nowhere to be seen. If the VP line wasn't so recent, I'd say it looks, feels and smells like a line-up revamp, which is odd, the VP are by all accounts excellent basses. Price hike coming up again ? Gibby sales hurting ? Who knows....
A long time ago in a land far far away ... bass players had Marshall stacks too.

A guy I worked with at my last trucking job still had his Marshall Major. He wasn't playing any more so gave it to his nephew, who was playing. When I saw Nazareth, I guess in '75 or '76 Pete Agnew played an EB3 thru Marshalls …….%^$# whoa!
Maybe it's a stupid idea, but it's crossed my mind a few times.

Unlikely they're being discontinued, methinks. They were being displayed at NAMM.

I think Marshall discontinued bass amps when they bought Eden. Except for the one offs for Lemmy.
