I was encouraged in another thread to post my new bass here as well, I hope it raises not too many eyebrows that it isn't a Gibby or Epi

Ergos were what turned me into a more or less constant Thunderbird player. Looks and sound were close behind.
A 100W version? Probably call it something predictable like YBA100...Hmm. A reliable amp that's easy to work on. What will they think of next?

Probably not intentional... not all Thunderbird bass players are as bright or well informed as our small band of TB Forum regulars.
True, but the seller is clearly trying to look more knowledgable than they are. It may be sheer ignorance, but it looks to be somewhere between horribly sloppy and willful ignorance. It’s sad, either way.

Trace Elliot used to occasionally bring and amp out to a lift, drop it from 30 or so feet, bring it back to the shop and plug it in.

These guys are some of my models, designing and building things to last.
They are as cheap as chips,(fries) in Europe but shipping/customs etc can be costly.
Agree. That’s a bit high for a scratched up regular IV, even with a case. Just hope someone doesn’t buy it thinking they’re getting a good deal on a CP.
I think it is arrogant ignorance. The worst kind. Or maybe ignorant arrogance. Either way, tied for 1 and 2.
How hammered do you have to be to do that?
