One year I attended the big St Patty's day party in Savannah at the riverfront. The had multiple stages situated such that almost everywhere you went (except right near a stage); you could hear at least two bands at once. One time at a festival the wind was such that thick smoke from a bonfire funneled right through the stage. Ever have a green light in your face all night? Yes...planning is generally lacking and shows often end up hinging on chance and the rule is to make the best of it !

I may be missing something here. As far as I know, St. Patty's parties are about getting drunk and all else is incidental.

Sounds like a better way. 'Course it leaves less work for the glut of legal eagles graduating every year.

There is also the problem that many people- especially those with less money wronged by those with more- would be more afraid to sue.

I'm always a bit of a theory geek. I always want to know the "why" before I "do". That is why I read a book on music theory before deciding to play.

It's a step beyond. More like getting a degree in electrical engineering to know which amp to buy.

Whereas reading an instruction manual is often instructive of the task to be accomplished, my approach is far less useful.

US Courts may award costs, but the default is each side pays their own costs. Canadian courts usually award the winner costs, but is not obliged to.

There are arguments to the merits of both. Awarding costs may reduce the incidence of frivolous lawsuits (there is a downside to losing). Each side paying their own costs may allow the economically disadvantaged better access to legal recourse. It is difficult to claim that one system is superior to the other.

Agreed. Although Some here will argue for the Canadian justice system solely on the basis of metric paper sizes.

The seller is a nice guy. I was working a trade with him (his NR plus cash for my PreEB Stingray) we couldn't quite make the deal happen due to the large out of pocket on his end. But he was very pleasant to converse with and seemed like a stand up guy.
