I know, I have better taste than Nikki and enjoy chrome for the most part ( I'm such a posh elitist) - that said, there are some Birds that black hardware really does look good on, like all natural Post '88 Birds.
Just expressing surprise that anyone here has knowledge of his hardware. Then again, having watched Dirt, perhaps I shouldn't be so surprised...Are you disputing the color of Nikki's hardware? What makes you the expert?
8^P
Frampton tix were 300 bucks a pop...
remember seeing Aerosmith at the Sportatorium for 12 bucks! WT7 happened there?...
Yeah. ZZ top/Bad Company @ Miami Jai-Alai was ~$10. in75(?).
I saw Led Zep on Houses of the Holy tour for $5.00, sadly, they sucked. Alice Cooper in '73 was $5.00 as well, a much better show, Kiss with Rush opening for them was about $8.00 in '75........Those were the days!

As years went on, tickets went up in price.
I blame exceedingly loose monetary policy coupled with oil shocks.

They'd have to have a product called Disaster Area.Time to start the Hotblack Bass company. Basses in any color you like, so long as it's black.
On the neckplate (if only for this), we will see, "MADE LOUDEST TO BE PLAYED LOUDEST". Even hotter mudbuckers. The active version would have a 1kW class D amp built into the aluminum body (heatsink, anyone?) and come with a heat-resistant, fingerless right glove. There can't be a model named Desiato, because that's reserved for a keyboard with all black keys (not Black Keys).

The Casady output is pretty hot.Time to start the Hotblack Bass company. Basses in any color you like, so long as it's black.

In ‘75, a buddy and I drove the 45 minutes to UCSB and saw The Boss and E Street in the basketball gym. I think it was $3.75. Bought at the box office on the way in. Pretty sure I’ll be paying close to 100 times that when the next tour (and hopefully not the last) is finally announced. But wouldn’t miss it for the world.I'm sure the ever more complex stage shows with all gear and personnel being hauled along had nothing to add. Or how much the stars get paid.
Awesome! To be honest, this is probably my holy grail bass right here -

But the wallet says "NOPE!"
You're killin' me! Up to this point I didn't actually know anybody with one! They are nice basses (Obviously, it's a Thunderbird!! Lol) but sound a bit darker than the typical Bird. Not a bad thing, they are just more their own thing. I got mine a little cheaper because one of the pickups "didn't work". When I received it, me and my friend tested everything electronic and couldn't find anything wrong. Hasn't given me any issues at all.
