Those are just about my favorite pickups. They are nothing like Gibson Mudbuckers, and aren't a whole lot like Thunderbird pickups. No matter, they are fantastic pickups.Model One™ | DiMarzio

Flats on a 'Bird, tapes on a 'Bird, rounds on a 'Bird. All good. It's the on a 'Bird part that is key.Are you venturing to go where most ThunderBird players dare not go?
like leakage and stuff like that?probably the additional electronics.
World's longest short scale bass guitar. For raggae bass - I would grab my (short-scale/2-singles/flats) '66 Teisco Del Rey for really phat pillowy bass with the tone rolled off - big things come in small packages!

I had a 1992 Honda Civic hatchback. It looked like a Pacer in a lot of ways. It's a toddler with a big diaper look they share. The Gremlin was more fun to drive... The Pacer has an irony factor - especially if painted with a goldfish theme or with a long submarine sandwich in the back.
Says the man who owns all but about three of the NR Thunderbirds ever made. This means it's truth.

The Mod should carry it for you. He has to earn those shoes. The JC in its case is quite light so wasn't too much of a drag getting it up the hill (always UP the hill) to the station. But getting it to the rehearsal space and back would no fun at all.
As a guy who loves the car culture and often rides his motorcycle for pleasure, I feel like we're in an interesting place in history regarding the automobile. The older generations who equated the automobile with freedom are slowly dying off and the younger generations don't have that same connection to the automobile. Times they are a-changin'. Motorsports are slowly dying, and that includes things like NHRA and NASCAR. It's a slow change, but the culture of this world is changing, make no mistake about it....Our cities are built around cars not people, but I think slowly more and more people are going car free. Maybe one day half the roads will be dug up and turned into parks or gardens.

Love me some pointy headstocks!!!!
....gigbags are perfect for public transport....the (semi) hollow bodies may cause problems... Cataldo was out on rehearsal yesterday in a 7ender gigbag...
I was thinking of you when playing the ‘15 with cobalts Tuesday night. Still as smooth as the very smooth chromes on my P.I love to hate cobalt flats.
Carry on...

I have a Warwick Rockbag which is fine for my Cataldos. The others are only allowed out in their cases.
