Hummm, like I said - sufficient for what it is, and it ain't bad. A much more substantial case can be had (as in, a custom aluminum thicky padded flight-case) but is expensive and very heavy. Perfect for a touring musician but for daily, mostly local toting...

:) Thanks! It is an awesome bass, but unfortunately the power pop-rock trio I used it for disbanded so it hasn't seen much playing time lately. I miss rocking it. Because I have been involved with a few different bands, playing very different material - I tend to use specific basses for each related to that material. Not a "one bass fits all" kinda guy - each bass I use is chosen specifically for the genre of the music/set-list. With TSC's we play a number of mid-late '60s pop classics so I use basses made during that era for authentic tone. It sounds anal, but it's true - and besides I really love that period in general. (cars/industrial design, architecture, literature, music and literature)
Guess I'll have to form another power trio to get it back in rotation! :bassist:

I can dig all that, but I like to use my NR for everything 'cos (A) I'm comfortablest with it and (2)* just to show people it can play anything. Well, anything I can play. I've used it for big band, concert band, jazz trio, and our 60s-70s rock group. A little EQ-ing and all's good.

*I never was any good at indexing
