Certainly acceptable, considering what you get outta that.~USD110 and half of that is his labour charge, so not too bad all things considered.
I can't bring myself to click the "like" button.Looks like I'm going to be getting two weeks to play the Thunderbirds at home.......
Another post I just can't bring myself to click the "like" button. At first I wan't any different than all my union brothers and sisters, "ah heck, it's like the flu, wash your friggin hands.". Clearly that is not the case and it sucks that people will go do that. I have been in my house now six days and i don't really want tog o out but we will have to send someone to the grocery store probably tomorrow or the next day. As we are in a Chicago suburb things are ramping up here. Hope all of you stay safe and free of this epidemic.Public service announcement: I know two people with Covid19. A mother and child from our church. The mother has asthma but is doing OK. Not enough symptoms to be admitted and tested, but the ER doc said he was sure both had it. The little girl basically feels like she has a cold with 101 fever and is doing well. Mom caught it from a co-worker she sits right nest to who was sick and just traveled abroad.
The kicker: It could have been prevented. The co-worker didn't want to go to the Dr because she knew she would be placed on quarantine."I only think about me" syndrome. Now at least two others are needlessly sick and are quarantined and one missing work and likely infected others. Not only selfish but stupid. Be careful or you won't be able to play your Thunderbird.

Eep. Paid or unpaid?
I would think you could 'manage' to find a little for yourself-in the interest of preserving model railroad history-er sumpin'.Right now I'm not sure since I'm management - My people can file for unemployment, I'll probably have a better idea in the next day or so.
Hoping it’s not because you are sick.Right now I'm not sure since I'm management - My people can file for unemployment, I'll probably have a better idea in the next day or so.
Did you buy the little red’un ?Traynor YBA200 required 2 x 6550s and some grid resistors. Will be getting it back at some point in the next couple of days.
They got spotty after a while. The worst was the freebie they did to distribute through iTunes.

My other table is a mid level Techniques Quartz direct drive bought at Silo Electronics. Last new table I bought. Had to be 25 years ago. Doubt it will ever die. The Pioneer was used from a garage sale and replaced a Dual that died. I think (hope) my Dad still has the Dual. I’ll have to check.
They were almost certain that had it due to the symptoms--and that they had recently traveled abroad to one of the hot spots. It's somewhat understandable had there been no travel to the equation. 1/3 in Ky have some kind of sinus/allergy/cold thing this time of year and flu is still widespread in our county (Jefferson). Had we not canceled church a two weeks ago the two I know that got infected likely would have been there (contagious before feeling sick), and likly infected the grandmother and no telling how many kids and adults. The person knew they had it or were at least exhibiting symptoms? I understand being worried about being put into quarantine, but how are you going to feel if that selfishness ultimately ends in the loss of another persons life?
Some of those old consoles had some good guts and sounded really good. Learned a lot of songs from our turntable in ours in the 70s. That old Magnavox had some crank to it (not the drug).Didja mean this?

ETA: the "all-in-one" at the right end is hooked into the consoles speakers. Sounds pretty good for being ~40 y/o.
So does being a fool. That's why friends don't let fools play Thunderbirds. That’s infuriating....But fear clouds thinking. Ugh.
One of my turntable was a Techniques as well (so are my speakers that I still have and still sound great). The first one died. I should say I wore it out. Music was an escape. My other table is a mid level Techniques Quartz direct drive bought at Silo Electronics. Last new table I bought. Had to be 25 years ago. Doubt it will ever die. Here’s the Goth with the Supertone.
