Thunderbird Club

That pretty much sums it up...

However there is something you should be aware of in regards to the Pro-V:

The bridge has problems loading thicker B strings than the stock strings, which I believe are .125 - Thicker strings have problems fitting the ball end into the bridge slot.
Yup noticed that, luckily I don't like to go heavier than .125 for the "B" part of the upgrade package is a set Roto Nexus strings which I specified the lightest set available, if that prob rears its head while at the shop then perhaps they can ream it out a bit..

Could you guys/gals give me a brief rundown of the 3 Bach NR runs? Seems to be alot of conflicting thoughts on the internets. Seems first run was no belly cut but notched saddles etc. some suggest different woods, body thickness etc. Seems like a great piece to start with at the pricepoint of used ones. Thanks!!
None of these are deal breakers, just looking for some knowledge.

THE MAN to talk to regarding BaCH Thunderbirds is TB'er Basvarken (His name is Rob). The whole deal came about on another forum Invalid Link Removed
where we speak Gibson. He was directly responsible for BaCH producing the Non Reverse and will know all the specifics of each production run. I used to have one, I put a Lull pickup in it, I ended up selling it ( kind of regret that now!) it was a sweet bass and with a better pickup had great tone. The goal of the project was to produce an affordable replica of a '60s Gibson and in that regard it was a complete success.
