Awesome! The very rare Thunderbird Air '15 with the TB club exclusive virtual black pick guard! Looks like it's in pristine condition as well. Those are pretty hard to find, you almost never see one for sale. Play her proud!

Great now I know the exact name of this model! When I bought it they just said it was a 2015 Gibson Thunderbird.

Sounds kind of country and/or western.

Of course, but "better" is a relative term qualified here by 4 and 3 in this example. Hence, 5 is still better than 4. And this can be carried on to (∞). Just ask Geddy. He will likely get there first since he seems to have a substantial head start on the rest of us--if there even is a there. Which we agree--there is no there to which anyone (even Geddy) can arrive.

I've been away long enough to have, relatively speaking, had several grandchildren, got actually hired by Chrissie Hynde AND THEN Robert Fripp, and saved up for the Stanley Clarke Alembic bass and two Cataldos. I guess I'll just step in here and start running alongside the cart...

I'm needing some help. I just got a non-reverse Mike Lull T-5 and I need to get a stand for it that is long enough. I have a Hercules stand and the nuts that hold the leg braces are right where the bass hangs - and I really don't want to scratch up the finish. I have an extremely high-tech piece of bubble wrap around that area but would rather have something that fits. Any suggestions?

this is my Hercules stand and it has plenty of clearance at the bottom... not sure if that helps though...

I REALLY appreciate all the help and I ordered one of those today. Looking at most of the Hercules stands that are similar to what I have made me realize they must have made changes since I bought mine - the braces are move more to the sides and the foam cushioning extends a lot lower than mine does.

I hope to get the stand before I play next time (Church is doing online streaming with church staff performing the music) but if it doesn't, Ill just use one of my old basses and keep this where it does not get dinged up.

I use a one of the Thunderbirds at church more than half the time. And been using one like this Ultimate stand for years with no problem.

I don't use the bow at church.
