It is unfortunate that so many things are designed to be disposed of once they stop working. One of my attractions of the YBA100 is the ability to service it to keep it running as well as the day it rolled out of the factory.

Obviously PtP wired amps are going to be better in that regard -- no PCB to crack or whatever -- but still a traceable easily repairable circuit rather than Class D necromancy.

I do have a newer Zoom as well, a B3. It may handle a newer OS
. I’ve never really used it. Seems much more complicated than the B2 which I have pretty much ‘right’.(I assume it also handles DAW duties)

Power is described as "area under the curve" (among other things). When you move from sine toward square waves, you end up with more area under the curve. From a perceived volume standpoint, I finally decided it's because when the speaker cone is in motion, it's accelerating harder (in whichever direction), so it pushes the air harder, even though it's effectively resting more in the interim between the back and forth.
