I don't know Tbirdians, I'm getting close to moving the Lull T5. I know the conventional wisdom is don't, but I just don't need a 5er in my only gig band which is Classic Hard Rock, and down tuning isn't needed (superb vocalist). Although at 9 lbs, the Lull isn't heavy, my sub-8 lb Embassy's are so much easier on my 68 year old body (35 years of soccer didn't help). I would either sell upright, or trade down or up towards a Lull T4, PT4, etc., or Dingwall D-bird/D-roc. The thought of having a Lull is great, but I already have 2 fantastic 5s which are hangar Queens, actually 3 if you count the LB75f, and don't need 4. Talk me in or out of it... sigh...
They’re “inexpensive.” I got four to try and no big deal if it wears out after a few months. I was like a little kid when I stumbled across them a month or so ago. I put it in the path of the wiper bade to see how it holds up there instead of off to one side...
I would hang onto that Lull 5er, you don't need it now but may at some point. Lull will continue, however there will not doubt be a clear line in price and resale between those basses that Mike built and those that just have his last name on the HS.
Better than a “boiled lollies” sign thoAbove or below the "free champagne" sign?
It's a mint SVT-VR, hardly gigged and barely even turned on more than a couple of times in the last seven years. It's on the block looking for a new home.Choice pic, is that an SVT CL?
Church. And a brief practice beforehand. It's nice to be playing again. What happens Sunday?
I kind of wondered if you might find some interest here! And for good reason, I might add.I sure do!
You also.Happy Friday everyone. Glad to see the end of another work week. The working from home thing is getting better and I find myself wishing it might stay that way. Considering a few days off from practice due to soreness in my pinkie. Taking lessons by Zoom and not certain if it is the metronome work, or an alternating technique I have been practicing. My instructor has been having me practice, and try to speed up playing two strings at the same fret. I am learning I'm your Captain by Grand Funk Railroad, specifically the part where it sounds like A and D played at the 5th fret. Not certain why I am struggling with this. Plan to peruse the technique section, maybe some hand stretching might help.
While at my desk yesterday, listened to most of Wings over America, hadn't heard it in years, but remember getting the album eons ago. Sir Paul plays some very tasty bass lines on those records.
Have a good Friday folks, and a great weekend.
Stay well.

Hey Gbass, I think that sticker looks great on your Porsche. Hella nice car you have there. I have been listening frequently to the Grateful Dead lately, particularly the recordings of the concert at RFK stadium. Stay well, drive safe!Until I find a Tbird decal my Porsche prefers this...
