There's a color used on '66 Mustangs-and other FoMoCo products-called "Emberglow" that'd look nice on a 'Bird. I couldn't get just it to load offa paint cards.:banghead: Kind of a coppery red-sorta.
Nice color. Very close to the color of my old mustang...

This isn't mine, this is a '66 I actually had a '64 1/2 That was a bit more gold than this.

Good grief, how many pages. Carpal tunnel surgery all went well, don't get pins and needles anymore when I play, not do I get the pain in my arm at night which used to wake me up. Also thanks to @Chucky Stiletti for the massive help getting my ashdown sorted.
:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

The surgery is absolutely curative and is fast and easy. Relatively short recovery time also. I'm very glad I got it done.

UPS is messing with me. My new to me VP supposedly landed at my local facility (9 miles away) yesterday morning at 9:23 AM. The tracking says “a mechanical failure has delayed delivery...“ This morning it was scanned at 2:57 AM and again at 3:09 AM at the same facility. The next scan was 9:58 AM as “out for delivery.” So it’s now 7:30 PM and hasn’t arrived. I think I’d rather just not know when they’re saying it should get here.

Y se queden las feas? bien berracos pana:thumbsup:

Translation:

My dog has fleas. I can fix it with bean dip.
That's odd, when I enter it into google translate it comes back as...
The Queen has fleas. Bring fried chicken. ;)
(Well actually it says barbecued parrot, but I think Chucky meant fried chicken)

There was a bunch of pics of Mustangs. No 2 the same color. :banghead: And I like the deeper reddish tone.

Still one of THE sexiest cars ever made.
My first car was gonna be a fastbang Mustback-as I called it-but the car lot wouldn't budge on price so I got one of these: 62 Impala, 327, powerglide(not mine, mine had a black top) I had it painted Emberglow. A month later some dipspit(sp?)hit-and-runned me. Car was never the same. Traded it for a 63 Volvo-which was a tight fit for my THUNDERBIRD/case.

I loved all the early Mustangs- coupe, fasback, convertible. Still do. I'd love to have one of each.
My folks got a '69 Impala 327 4door sedan. It was pretty fun for a biggish car, but suffered from early smog control efforts just off idle. On the other hand, when I accidentally threw it into reveerse while hard on the gas at about 30MPH, it just stopped, with no evidence of any problems, which was a relief to a terrified 16 y/o.

Ha! I did that in a Powerglide auto. Chirped the rear wheels and stalled. Restarted it and drove it for a few more years with no issues at all
