I honestly don't know. I had the little enduro, rode my BIL's Kawasaki 250 triple for a few months, owned a UJM (Yamaha XS650), and a crotch rocket (original Interceptor 750). I wanted a Buell but Harley got rid of those. A Hog is on the short list just because I've never had one. But Triumph, Guzzi, and Ducati have models on that list as well. Among others. My short list isn't so short.

As you can see that MIK one has a Jazz bass set-up w/2 single-coil pu's. I bought mine locally about 5 years ago for $150 if I remember correctly in like-new condition. I bet they can still be had for under $300 as they were not much more than that new. The ones like the one you found was more new - probably for about what it is now selling for used.

This is the one I'd brake for - a '65 with a Darkstar pu (and the 2x2 hs) - seriously cool bass. :bassist:

And one last addition...

I found this while searching JetStar basses - it's a bass I made many years ago using a Jet Star guitar body and a generic neck that I reshaped the hs on. Haven't seen it for ages - I donated it to some friends in Wisconsin who do a yearly outdoor music festival for anyone to use. I bought the guitar new for cheap thinking I would learn how to play it... Now that I think of it - the bridge cover is off my '71 EB3 that I bought new then!

i played a bass in that curvy shape. 35” scale, loved it. Brand that I didn’t know starts with a D I think, do they also do pickups ?

I recall that discussion and the horror of doing some vector math to resolve the pulling force... Sometimes, the easiest business solution is not to provide the complicated explanation of why the items the customer is asking for are unnecessary, rather just provide the item and let the customer figure it out.

I knew a neurologist, John Edmeads, who was President of the American Headache Society. He had great bits of neurology folk wisdom and this situation reminds me of one of them. He said "A CT is worth a room full of neurologists. No matter how much you explain, the patient will swear it is brain cancer, not a migraine. And they will go and get second, third, fourth opinions. Just do the CT and show them the picture."

I wanted to share with this group, last Friday I received long hoped for news, after 21+ months of meds/tests/biopsies, I do not have prostate cancer. Still doesn't explain high/erratic PSA numbers, but I'll take it as a huge win. Please, let's not tie up things with a lot of congratulations, likes here are fine!

This means I will finally attend band practice next week, the guys have been practicing without me for around 6 weeks. Covid rates are very low in Northern Utah and I will insist on masks.

I think I'll take Embassy 2 (my lightest), and bring Embassy 1 home to outfit with a Hipshot drop tuner. Long term, still have to decide if I will gig with two Embassy's, or an Embassy and the Lull T5. Real world problems, right?
