I don't roll on the sabbath.
Man, don’t get me started on the Big Lebowski quotes, it’s up there with Spinal Tap and Airplane as the most quotable movie of all time*.

there's a bunch of different ones, some (as you say) humbuckers, others bifilar wound and on and on...was just wondering which ones you were referring to..Maybe I’m not understanding how they work. But aren’t they stacked coils to cancel hum instead of being one single coil? I’m always eager to learn more...
are lawyers in Canada more like British barristers or American attorneys?..There was (I think) an economist who divided the world into makers and transactors. Makers make useful things. Transactors match things to users. An economy needs both but an imbalance results in an economy underperforming.
Much like American attorneys. Some that I work with are licensed in Canada as well as the US; particularly those involved in securities and intellectual property.are lawyers in Canada more like British barristers or American attorneys?..
Every once in a while, there is word I need to look up... Now I need to work that into everyday conversation.there's a bunch of different ones, some (as you say) humbuckers, others bifilar wound and on and on...was just wondering which ones you were referring to..

And just like the US, there are some who, after you meet them, you feel like you need a shower.![]()
..yeah figured...asking cause from my international professional experience I've yet to see a country where lawyers have the amount of clout they do in this one..Dude! LEGS!!
(Some) New York lawyers tend to be more aggressive and more arrogant than other lawyers, but I'm not sure that they have excessive "clout". Some like to think that what they say goes, but it is a minority and they can be put in their place. I had a great experience with a law professor at university who was doing a guest lecture. His view was that you can do anything you want, but there is a price. The criminal code is the price list...yeah figured...asking cause from my international professional experience I've yet to see a country where lawyers have the amount of clout they do in this one..

That wood looks a whole lot better than I would have expected it to.
Dude, you got me going back and forth now...wanted to strip mine (same cherry finish) and have it refinished in white....then, seeing that, the cherry finish is exclusive to BaCH and looks pretty good I temporarily decided against it but now......hmmmm....guess once you start..still takes cojones....nice going!![]()
So, maybe a transparent candy green?Yeah, the Mahogany Bach used is quite nice, I especially like the unique striation in the lower wing, it's how I've been able to track this bass back to previous owners (including our own @godofthunder59 ). It's a bit of a shame it won't be visible, but I love solid metallic colors so alas, a casualty of my whims.
I do really like the cherry finish, especially with the grain on this bass, and it looks great on the original Thunderbirds I've seen it on, but I prefer green to red ultimately. And thanks! It's certainly an endeavor, but hopefully the results will be well worth the effort!
I wish! My only reverse (first bird as well) was purchased brand new 79 in Fl and stolen in Spain in 05..I've been meaning to ask, do you own a Reverse? I can't recall.

may be time to change that..
), I'll just have to buy a Thunderbird instead!
And take new pics when it gets here...
The only P/J I've ever owned is a '00 Fender American Hot-Rod Precision. It sounds fantastic and I would never consider getting rid of it. It feels like a custom shop build. I can't find any flaws with it whatsoever. The jazz pick up is over wound slightly to give it a little extra punch. But I only dial it in about 80%. Probably half the time is off completely. It's just me, but I can't picture buying a Thunderbird in that configuration. Found by a Thunderbird I wanted to sound like a Thunderbird. In fact if I bought another precision, I might want it to sound like a Thunderbird!

I have never been to Spain. But I have been to Oklahoma. I think Spain would be preferable.God, I'd love to go to Spain just now.
