There she is!! I love the way Thunderbirds look with the pickup rings.

Nice! The pick up rings are necessary on certain Thunderbird pickups to control that monstrous tone!

...neck pocket width is 56 mm so I had to carve the heel of the neck down, may be a short scale neck would fit... depends on how it balances....will be a very long bass....got a pair of Les Paul sized Thunderbird pups at home, they should fit without routing....refin, what color would you suggest, Frost Blue ?

Love it. I don't think the black pickups need rings, but they add a nice touch to any of the metallic finishes.

Schrodinger's Package went from Minneapolis well north of here) to Corpus Christi (near Houston), where it sat for 4 days. It eventually made it to Austin at 03:03 yesterday. Sometime today it left Austin for "the next facility" which theoretically would be Round Rock, which is only 2-3 hours north of Austin by bicycle, much quicker during Covid by truck. Based on some of your recent experiences shiping basses, I'm guessing that the "next facility" is in Brooklyn, and the package will be here by August. I'm glad it's not a bass, just zip-ties.

It seems like every Thunderbird on eBay these days is in Japan. Sometimes, there are more than one of the exact same bass for sale at different prices and shipping numbers. eBay is a very bizarre place now.

Never mind all that, the ESP is something a little different.
