I’ve baited him plenty. He says he’ll never do it. But he likes us and thinks we’re entertaining.
Entertaining, yup. That's us.
But knowledgeable in the world of Tbirds.

But I do have an Associate degree in electronics (from almost 30 years ago, though). A long time ago I also used to do repairs on computers, TVs, and radios part-time while going to school.
Later I got roped into doing automotive wiring/electronics/computer diagnostics & repair for a bit
So, I know enough to know which end of the soldering iron is the hot end, but not so good as to not burn myself with it occasionally![]()

You are going to make us wait to see a Thunderbird! Such cruelty!Hi all,
So it was a hard decision for my 1st Tbird (not really) but I decided on a 2014 in the Walnut/Natural color. I’m a sucker for natural finishes and I absolutely love love that look on this style of bass. It was pretty much love at first sight. So classy. I’ll post pics when I get it and convert it to lefty.
Thanks for the help all.![]()

I honestly no nothing about them. Also seems a bit spendy to me.
It'd have to have something special about it.
Agreed. Love the blocks, love the dark burst, do not love the price.
Nice work! I’ve got a couple basses that could use that. Not any of my birds though. Next time I’m in Sacto I’ll bring ‘em by...Well, as it turns out, all that shielding made an exactly 100% difference.
However, I was wrong about the pre-amp being the main culprit. I grounded the shielding in stages, and there was no change at all, until I grounded the pickup cavities
