Ok I can’t resist.
Just a screenshot but man what a looker! Something tells me if I put the strap pin in the (now) top horn it will balance really well and look awesome! I’m also thinking a black pickguard or pickguard delete. If anyone has an extra black pickguard please pm me.

But i am a 61 year old child.
Hi all,

So it was a hard decision for my 1st Tbird (not really) but I decided on a 2014 in the Walnut/Natural color. I’m a sucker for natural finishes and I absolutely love love that look on this style of bass. It was pretty much love at first sight. So classy. I’ll post pics when I get it and convert it to lefty.

Thanks for the help all. :)
That’s very cool! Those are nice birds with the 120th Anniversary inlay. I almost bought one in 2015 when I bought my ‘15. Our GC had both on sale and I chose the ‘15. I decided I also wanted the ‘14, but when I went back for it a couple weeks later it was gone.

I have been thinking about this since I first saw it. If it was a different finish I probably would have pulled the trigger. ESP stuff is fantastic and I wouldn't lump this in with the bolt neck Epi's.

Cool, good to know. Maybe a bit of brand bias on my part, based on all the trashed Vipers you see in used listings.

Too many temptations lately........You guys are lucky, there's always model train stuff and women's clothing calling my name as well....

One of the guys at Emerald City Guitars has a '76 that's flipped to play lefty, worked well! Congratulations! I'm happy to add you to the club if you wish.

If I wasn't nearing completion of my bolt on bird, I'd probably be buying that esp, or even that Low End bird. If the dingwall d-bird I had didn't have the canned frets, that would have stayed my main bird. On birds I'm a straight up pick player and the bridge never felt right under my pick hand. The lowest notes were a little stretch too. Sure had the best low end ever though.

Black pickguards were available until the pandemic from this seller on eBay. Overstocktoys | eBay Stores. He is reputable. Contact him to see whether he can hook you up.

And nice that it has a Hipshot bridge. You are really going to love it.

Nice! And it's already got a Hipshot bridge on it, which is great. I like the white pickguard on it. But either way, I'd get another and a Thunderbird decal to put on so it sits properly when it's flipped. I'd first try it with the stock neck heel strap pin. I don't know if that lower bout comes out far enough to make enough of a difference.

There is a rout for wiring under the pickguard.
