Not positive but I think we pretty much established that all modern neck through Gibby and Eppi birds have the route under the pickguard, but many of the bolt on and set neck birds don't. Is that correct? There is a rout for wiring under the pickguard.
I normally like the rings, but on this one I'm torn. Both look bad. I'll take it off your hands. No reason you have to live with the bad outcome.Getting close, he asked with or without neck ring, I said with. Opinions?

LOL - that settles it then! From my extensive sample size of one neck-through and one bolt-on, I'd say you are correct!![]()
I agree. Nice pickguard! The ring On top of it is a bit too busy IMO.without
You’ll be 62 soon enough. We’ll consider you a grownup then.
I think once you are a card carrying member of AARP, you are forced to acquiesce to being a grown up.Nah, not gonna happen. I'll give up having to much fun.![]()
I guess I’ll never generate as many as these masters, but I did get 10 likes out in the GP for posting this in a show your dream bass thread:4 of the 10 TalkBass users with the most likes for their posts are active TC members: @Gaolee , @JJR58 , @GonePlaid , and @JIO . Gaolee's even above @JimmyM ! Of course, Jimmy owns the number of posts lists.
You can probably collect enough to trade in for a P bass with flats...Not why they were given. What do you do with them? Are they like a virtual cookie?

Is that astroturf?Got the BaCH back from John Kallas today. He put the tummy cut in, did some filling and additional sanding. Gotta hit the sides and neck with some grain filler, the. It’s time for the base coat/sealer.
