Since it's now too late(EST)to play my THUNDERBIRD, I'm having a stein of "Funky Buddha Brewery Maple Bacon Coffee Porter"-a limited edition brew that's the best I've ever tasted.

Sure can't go wrong with either. Both look great! But l tend to prefer trans finishes, so the first gets a slight nod.

Pelham Blue non-reverse came up on Reverb this morning. Is it just me, or do prices seem pretty high lately, especially for shipping?

That's ~double what I saw one go for 3 months ago. The shipping is prolly pretty close. When I shipped my EpiBird 5er, I got a quote on what the highest amount-for the farthest distance(SE FL to Seattle)-would be.

Before I got into the 'dark' beers, I wouldn't have been interested either. IPA's don't interest me at all and most of the light beers are-to me-beer flavored water.

I've just been looking for a string nut for my new "project", as it doesn't appear to have one, and I've discovered something I was unaware of.
The nut width on my Epiphone Thunderbird IV is about 1 11/16", give or take (1.73" according to Google searches). The Project (really need a new name for that... ) is an Epiphone Thunderbird Classic Pro, apparently, which is listed as having a 1.5" nut width.

Is this:
A) accurate?
B) the same as Gibson Thunderbirds?

That part was fine, it just got worse after that for my tastes (or lack thereof). I don't like coffee to taste like maple and or bacon and I don't like bacon to taste like coffee. Any additional flavors just don't help. And when I used to drink I was just fine with beer tasting like… Beer. Didn't need it to taste like waffles, asparagus, lime, etc. But it's all personal preference. People likes what they likes.

Look up Denis Leary's "coffee flavored coffee" skit. I'll probably get some sort of warning here if I post it here since it has language inappropriate for the children.

Despite being in the Navy for 4 years and driving 18 wheelers for 23, I'm not a big fan of coffee without cream/creamers. The coffee in the MBCP is not overwhelming at all. Each of the additions is just that-an addition. There are quite a few coffee porters/stouts available. Again, not overwhelming, just an added 'note'. But, as I've said b4, tweetchie zone.

Mauve and teal were thee colours of the '80s - Joni rocked them then - I love this document! All the players were young and in their prime! What it must have been like to be in the audience that summer evening! At 32:49 they play Amelia (Earhart) the famous woman pilot. When I was in grade-school I read a book about her. My dad was a pilot in WWII so I had an affinity for flying.

RIGHT ON!! Love that lineup......saw them at UM right after American Garage was released..
