Question: would the tuner holes on an Epi T-bird need to be bored out to fit 11mm Schaller tuners?
"Asking for a friend" :cautious:
I dunno. But, as a person who bored out the tuner holes on a '91 Gibson, among other things that happened to that bass, my question is "why worry?"

How much an ebony board affects the tone of the tbird? What would be a fair price for a 2004 mint Gibson tbird with ebony board and NOHSC? :)
I do not know that it makes much difference at all. Strings and technique make more difference. Take a look at Reverb to get an idea of asking prices.

Truth is that we have different markets, but I don’t feel really sure about Reverb, its listings and its quotations. To me, they always look “bumped”, even when I look for the same item through official store’s websites.. o_O

I’ve never played a Tbird with an ebony fingerboard, but I like ebony on other basses I have.

Love the Ebony board on my 2005 Bird. I don't have a different one to compare to. But she sounded better than many I had played in the past in my memory. But that just could be imaginary.

Don't know about size. But if reaming is necessary, I've used sanding barrels to go easy with it, instead of trying to use a ream or rotary file. And tape both sides with painter's tape, then cut the hole center out to protect the finish.

Agreed. But it's a starting point for comparing. There's also the classified ads here. I really don't know what the current market for a 10 or 15 year old Thunderbird is these days. I would assume around $1200 or $1500, but I don't know. And I really don't know how that translates to any other country.

Agreed. In my experience, fingerboard material mainly affects how it feels as you play, and how it looks, although some guitar players sweat otherwise.

I went for it with a drill. I'm kinda a hack, and the bass got refinished anyway. The pegs, grommets and all that cover the holes anyway. The Hipshots I put on the '91 required drilling for the set screws as well. The tuning pegs in '91 were different from the pegs Gibson uses now. So there's four extra holes in the back of the headstock. I also put covers on the bass, so there's some more drilled holes. And pickup rings. So there's yet again some more. It was a well, well used bass when I got it, and it's even more used now. It's well loved and seems to have always been well loved.

Speaking of sweat, which leads to acid, which leads to aliens, anybody seen Jeff lately? He's been quieter than normal.

Could be, to cover the Reverb fees. And maybe additional work?
