Thunderbird Club

Well, she is wearing shoes at least. So she understands what this club is all about.
I would try posting a photo like that with just shoes and my bass as clothing but I'm positive I would be banned from this awesome forum and I would never do that to my THUNDERBIRD! Not to mention you would all go blind!

Some of you may know that that is the comedian/accordion player Judy Tanuta. I saw her many years ago in Chicago (she's from Oak Park - a northern suburb of Chicago) She was very funny/entertaining then and is still doing her thing now. (with cloths on) ;)

She's funny, she's gorgeous and she's a musician!

I have a question that I may have asked before but anyway here goes. What size allen key do I need to adjust the truss rod on my Epi Bird classic IV? I'm pretty sure I stripped it a little the last time I tried to adjust it. I had installed heavy gauge strings and needed extra relief but now I've went back to lighter gauge and the fret buzz is terrible. It has always had some fret buzz but it's worse now. I've tried raising the action on it and it does have a Hipshot bridge. In the mean time I'm going to raise the action some more and see what happens.

I had not heard of her, but just looked her up. She seems like she's quite a character and would be a whole lot of fun to see.

She had a TV show for awhile. In one 'bit', she pointed toward a potted plant and said "This is my plant...Robert".
I'm not sure how many people 'got' it.

It's supposed to be a 4 mm allen wrench.

My Vintage Pro.........Not like any other.
It's been in quarantine at the wrap shop and it took some time getting set up at Mike Lull's Guitar works, added a Hipshot D tuner. Any excuse to wear a little black dress!

Very cool! Always been a big fan of WWII nose art. Is this particular design from an actual plane? Also, any side or back shots of the wrap? I've always wondered if a wrap would have creases or wrinkles as it goes around a bass body. Did they wrap the pick guard separate or did they wrap over it in place? Lastly, who did your wrap?

Thank you! The design is made up although certainly inspired by nose art, I'd say this would be more like an F105, as Ms Paige wasn't around in the '40s. The wrap does want to wrinkle at some places on the body so I've carefully trimmed it back with a new #11 x-acto knife. The PG is a separate wrap and the screws are painted, it was done at a local sign shop - were I to do it again I'd probably work with a shop that does vehicle wraps.
