Thunderbird Club

Since I got everything done on the '07, and had some time to kill, decided I'd see about putting the new knobs on the '09.
I think they take some of the boring bleh away, give it a subtle bit of something interesting, visually

I came home from school early, to my grandparents house, to watch it on their big (for '86  ) TV. About a month after my 14th. :( :crying:
I was working construction at the time, took a break and went to a convenience store for something to eat and drink and every body was acting weird. At the counter I heard rumblings of something and found out what happened. Kind of the same thing with 911. Was on vacation in Gulf Shores, AL and went to Walmart to get some things and saw it on one of the TVs. No sound, so had to wait to get back to the condo to figure out what all was going on.

Unfortunately it never gives Bass as an answer. But for the purposes of this quiz I'd consider drums close enough. Those are the two major instruments in the rhythm section. FWIW - I scored Drums as well.
We likely all answered that early question with: Pats foot keeping time. Or however it was worded.

And I thought the GBP had bad frets and dried out fretboard :rollno: :(

Don't know if the difference in the frets will show up with my crap photog skills, but it should for the fretboard...

How do people let their guitars get this bad?

I can see the fret diff!

A lot of people are ignorant about a lot of things. And the more we get away from physical stores run by knowledgeable people who care, the more I see this happening.

Interesting. Apparently drums are my thing. Makes sense with bass not being an option that I noticed. I would like drums, but don't think I could get each hand and feet doing different things very well and might sound......like (some) Jazz maybe!
I'm not sure I'm aggressive. I'm pretty easy going, unless pressed hard by a fool. Maybe it's a covid thing!

There’s more to drums than a set. I never learned to play a set, but I can play djembe, cajon, and other single drums just fine.

Bloody hell! I used to play on almost the exact same rocket at the beachside park at Brighton-Le-Sands as a young’un

the park is across the bay from the airport runway... I even took my kids there to have fish n chips and watch the planes taking off

@GBassNorth i found an article on the rocket... done in 1969 of course, 4 levels
'Space travel' at Kyeemagh 50 years ago

Kyeemagh being the next door suburb to Brighton.

I’ve seen worse... I have a bridge from a Fernandez that I’m going to try. Its narrow, but it needs a 2 of the long machine screws. I’ll see if I can get that to work.
I’d be interested in finding out the thread size for those if you’re able to find them somewhere. I’ve been needing a pair for my Silvertone....

Only song I could play half way well on my brother’s set was You’re Going to (Gonna) Lose That Girl. Love that song.
