Yes - since the inserts I bought ended up being the flush Gibson ones, I'm going to go with the Babicz.
As soon as a bit of cash frees up.. :greedy:
I got sold on Babicz bridges when the 2013 EB came with one. Come to think of it, maybe that bass should get a color treatment, too. Hmmmm... How to spend endless money and time reducing the value of things you own.

How about this color of green?

The second plastic pickup cover was much easier to remove - now that I better understand how they're held on. :bookworm:

Supplemented the Xuron cutters with a flathead screwdriver. Used the cutters to give access for prying, and to break the cover loose from the epoxy on the bottom. Used the screwdriver to break the glue on top, then gently pried all around until the cover popped off

Leave the blob of glue. It is tone glue; without it, it won't sound right. ;):roflmao:

OK, there is too much gap around the pickups. It needs rings. Given the suggestions about semi-permanent attachment of the rings, do you even need the screws? No one is ever going to notice a lack of screws or if they do, you can tell him/her that they must have just fallen out and you can have him/her crawling around looking for them for hours.

I could intentionally leave a few out, to play into that fiction...
