Denial...Uh...no.
It was him on the original studio version from Stax.I didn't get a good look, but I assume Booker T Jones on organ.
I’ve seen that one. Too rich for my blood. It sure looks nice. Maybe @godofthunder59 has an idea. Maybe PM him. Or give Geddy a call.I'll be honest, I've been eyeing this since I'm selling off some gear, and while it's over priced at the ask currently, was wondering what a reasonable offer might be. The only thing I'm slight questioning is the round over on the edges, does it look too round on the edges to those of you with originals? Like it was reshaped in the refin?

It looks right to me. The color makes it look a little different. But it ain't my money.I’ve seen that one. Too rich for my blood. It sure looks nice. Maybe @godofthunder59 has an idea. Maybe PM him. Or give Geddy a call.

would seem that way but kinda hard to tell...I'll be honest, I've been eyeing this since I'm selling off some gear, and while it's over priced at the ask currently, was wondering what a reasonable offer might be. Yeah with the lighting on a metallic colour it's a bit tricky to tell, but given the amount of variance Gibson displayed in their output at the time (body thickness, tummy cut depth, etc), it's completely within reason it came a bit more rounded to begin with.
Some of mine in original finish have very rounded edges others the egdes barley have a radius. That bass is priced at the top end of the spectrum for a refin and presumably repaired headstock, 3,000- 3,500 seems more realistic. I would want better pictures and more of them.
Definitely not authentic. No Minutemen sticker.
Yeah-and maybe the moon will be Chrome.Agreed, though I'd certainly send in an offer and not pay full price.
Or maybe Scott will sell one of his restored 'birds?![]()
Wow, you guys worry about string noise? I don't record much is that why? In a live setting I'm not even aware of it.
This is interesting. Eastwood to Bring Back the Rocket Bass
Yeah. I've been playing bass since '67. I'm certain I have habits that I'm not gonna correct now.![]()

They are all jealous of us...
Did someone say Anvil?
They inspired me to get my EpiBird 5er. Which didn't quite work for me. Crap. You could make a case for that.
