That's a great looking bass! I already know how how wonderful it sounds, I don't know that Mike made very many NR's, I hope you treasure it!

Based upon my carefully calibrated eyeballs, probably not. There's only one screw hole, and two pins.

Unless you mean a 7ender or something. I wouldn't know about those tuning machines.

That tuning machine looks amazing. If it works as well, then it's probably a requirement for something. Tuner GAS. Is that a thing?

Probably!

Somewhat surprisingly, these aren't super expensive. Set of 4, pair of straplock buttons, taxes & shipping from Germany...still less than Hipshot USA 3/8" ultralights

Drilling for the anchor pins should be easy to accomplish. Just press the tuner into the back of the headstock to create slight dents that mark the wood enough to locate where to drill.

I was working without the benefit of eyeballing. Just thought that perhaps a wise German engineer would have been OCD about lining up things.
